The regional training is the perfect opportunity for advocates to develop or enhance skills related to hotline best practices. Advocates will learn active listening practices, interviewing and assessment skills and how to utilize empowerment based advocacy on the hotline. Advocates will have an opportunity to participate in role plays an dlearning exchanges in order to develop additional skills in addressing complex calls.
All certified center domestic violence advocates are welcome to attend. Please confirm with registration if the participate is also attending the December 4-6 Core Competency event.
