Domestic Violence and Child Welfare Specialist

Domestic Violence and Child Welfare Specialist Must possess at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree and two years experience delivering direct services at a domestic violence center, or a high school/equivalency diploma and four years experience delivering direct services at a domestic violence center. The candidate will understand the root causes of violence against women and oppressed groups, have proven program coordination experience, and excellent writing and organizational skills. The Specialist must have also worked within or in close partnership with the Department of Children and Families, a Community Based Care agency, or a related child welfare agency. 

The Specialist is responsible for the successful coordination and implementation of FCADV’s child welfare programs and must have experience in the intersection of domestic violence and child welfare; including the dependency process.
