This domestic violence statewide training institute provides resources and information to address the unique needs of rural community partners serving domestic violence survivors and their children.

This two-day statewide training institute provides information and resources to address the unique needs of rural community partners serving domestic violence survivors and their children. The institute offers workshops that cover a wide range of topics to enhance participant’s knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence, best practices for service provision, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence in rural communities.

A host of distinguished experts lead informative and skill-building workshops on topics such as technology, law enforcement, later-in-life survivors, human trafficking, farmworkers, and health care, as they intersect with rural domestic violence.

The intended audience includes direct service advocates, law enforcement officers, legal professionals, health care providers, allied agencies, child protection, social service professionals, students, and other individuals who work or volunteer in the field of domestic violence and sexual assault
