This Two Day Institute will examine the value of Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Efforts that include a shared vision of offender accountability and safety and justice for survivors of domestic violence. Day one includes presentations by Susan Still and Marcus Bruning on law enforcement response and working with survivors of domestic violence. On day two, David Garvin will discuss the role of batterer intervention programs in a CCR and examine effective programs that support survivors. Bob Smedley will discuss the ways that Florida communities can enhance their relationships with local BIPs.
