Provide Competency-Based Core Curriculum Training for qualified domestic violence center advocates to become authorized trainers of the Competency-Based Core Curriculum. In order to attend the training, a domestic violence center advocate must have completed 30 hours of core training for victim/advocate privilege communications under Florida Statute Section 90.5036, have two or more years of direct service experience working in a Florida certified domestic violence center and be employed or volunteering with one of Florida's 42 certified domestic violence centers.
The two day training will occur from 8:30am-5:30pm each day, lunch will be on your own.
Scholarships may be provided to certified centers required to travel for this event.
