The Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence will host a Primary Prevention Orientation in Orlando, Florida on July 21st. This FREE one-day event is specifically designed for domestic violence advocates and community partners who are new to prevention work. The purpose of the orientation is to support participants in understanding the concepts of Primary Prevention and their roles in creating social change and promoting healthy relationships. The training will be facilitated by FCADV’s prevention team. The orientation will connect people from around the state who are engaged in prevention work and provide a framework for understanding primary prevention and the role it has in domestic violence center services.
Registration opens at 8:30am. The training will run from 9am to 5pm, with an hour lunch break.
