Empowerment and Safety: Trauma-Informed Approaches to Domestic Violence
This two-day training institute will offer multi-track workshops and presentations that cover a wide range of topics to enhance attendees’ ability to advocate, respond and provide services for domestic violence survivors and their children living in rural communities. Attendees working directly and indirectly in the domestic violence field throughout Florida will learn more about emerging trends and developments from a combination of national and local domestic violence experts on a range of issues related to domestic violence and trauma-informed practices in rural communities.

The intended audience includes direct service advocates, law enforcement officers, legal professionals, health care providers, allied agencies, child protection, social service professionals, students, and other individuals who work or volunteer in the field of domestic violence.

CEUs are available for LCSW, LMFT, and LMHC for a fee.
