2014 Rural Domestic Violence Training Institute

This two day training institute will offer workshops to cover a wide range of topics to enhance participants‰Û¡ÌÝå» knowledge, service provision and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence/ sexual violence in rural communities. Direct service advocates, law enforcement, legal professionals, health care providers, allied agencies, child protection, social service professionals, students and other individuals who work or volunteer in the domestic violence arena throughout Florida will come together to learn the emerging trends and developments in assisting rural domestic/sexual violence survivors and their children.
Registration is free and travel scholarships are available. CEUs are offered. A hotel room block has been set up at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Marianna; call 850.482.0012 to make a reservation.
